🔌 Ambient MCP & API Now Available to All Users
Every user on your workspace can now connect Ambient to their preferred AI tool, including Claude, Cowork, Claude Code, and ChatGPT. Previously available to a limited beta group, MCP and API access is now live for everyone.
Head to Account Settings > MCP & Ambient API to grab your server URL and get started. We renamed the tab and added a shortcut in the account menu to make it easier to find.
⚙️ Workspace Settings for Admins
Admins now have a dedicated Workspace Settings section accessible from the profile menu. It includes three new tools:
User Management - View your team, manage roles (admin/member), disable accounts, and reassign a departing user's meetings to another team member during offboarding.
Transcription Corrections - Teach Ambient how to spell your company and product names correctly. Set custom spelling corrections and boost specific terms so the transcription model recognizes them. Supports up to 200 correction pairs per workspace. Applies to all new transcriptions going forward.
Bot Join Chat Message - Configure a message your bot automatically sends to the meeting chat when it joins. Ideal for recording consent notices and compliance requirements. Works on Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet. Includes a live preview and character counter.
🤖 Custom Bot Names
Each user can now name their meeting assistant whatever they want. "Notetaker," "Scribe," your company name, up to you. Set it in Account Settings > Assistant. Works on Zoom and Teams (Google Meet does not support custom bot names). Changes apply to newly scheduled meetings.
⚡ Bulk Publish + Clear All
You can now select multiple drafts and publish them all at once from the Drafts page, with control over access list and visibility settings. We also added a "Clear All" button on access lists so you can remove everyone in one click instead of deleting attendees one by one.
