Use Cases for twine

As a host it takes a few minutes to set up and create a twine networking session, it's crazy easy! But if you don't have a specific event in mind, or if you're burnt out on creative ways to engage your users, it might be a little more difficult to think of all the ways your team can use twine. We're here to help!

twine is an experience that your team can use at both your internal and external events.

twine @ Internal Events & Programs

Use Twine to foster internal team culture, especially in an age of remote work. The bonds that hold teams together are fraying and Twine can help!

  • twine at All Hands - host the meeting as usual on any virtual platform (zoom, teams, google meet, etc.) and end on a high note enabling employees to meet face to face with their colleagues.

  • twine at department meetings - use twine to give employees some face-to-face time where they can get to know each other better, teams that care for each other perform better.

  • twine at employee engagement events - get creative with twine, host a "Plank with Friends" twine where participants meet 1:1 for 1-minute planks, who can hold a plank the longest?

  • Onboarding: Use twine to get new employees acquainted with one another and the company. Getting to know a new team can be a little bit awkward, use twine to help new team members get to know everyone.

twine @ External Events & Programs

One way to think about Twine is to think of it as an alternative for the networking sessions that used to happen in person. It helps recreate the serendipitous conversations that used to happen at the networking happy hours, in the lobby, while waiting in line, or in the elevator.

  • Pre-event speed networking - use twine to generate excitement about the event, get the audience warmed up and ready for event content.

  • Speed networking during breaks - use breaks to power networking, mirroring the hallway experience, attendees jump into a twine in between sessions.

  • Topic/group-specific networking - tag networking to a specific presentation, a Subject Matter Expert presents to a group and then has the group join a twine where they meet 1:1 and discuss the content of the presentation.

  • Group-Based Matching - match participants across the aisle, think buyer/seller, East Coast/West Coast, Employees/Clients, New Clients/Current Clients.

  • Post-event networking - give the event community a chance to come back together to maintain the relationships they built during the program.

  • Virtual networking happy hour - have attendees grab their beverage of choice and debrief the event with their peers.
