If you see an “Invalid Outlook Permissions” error when trying to connect your calendar, it means your organization’s Microsoft 365 / Entra administrator must approve the Ambient Outlook Integration.
Option 1: Admin Approval During Setup (Easiest)
IT Admins: Create an Ambient account at app.ambient.us
Attempt to connect Outlook Calendar
You will be prompted with an Approve option
Approve, and the connection will be enabled for your org
Option 2: Manual Approval in Microsoft Entra
If you’d prefer to grant consent directly:
Admins: Go to the Microsoft Entra Admin Center.
Retrieve your Tenant ID.
Replace

Open the updated URL in your browser and follow the prompts to approve the Ambient Outlook Integration.
