🎁 New Feature: Pre-Reads for Non-Recurring Meetings
Pre-Reads for Better Preparation
If your calendar is connected to Ambient, you can now receive pre-reads for meetings with recurring attendees. Here's how it works:
Automatic Attendee Recognition: Ambient identifies the last meeting with the same attendees on your invite.
Smart Summaries: A pre-read is generated with notes on what happened in the last meeting, key topics discussed, and any open action items.
Timely Delivery: The pre-read is sent directly to your inbox one hour before your meeting.
Key Notes:
Pre-reads are sent only to the Ambient Assistant owner (you). Group sharing functionality will be available soon.
You can disable this notification anytime under Profile > Account > Assistant > Notifications.
Requirements:
Calendar connection enabled.
At least one past meeting summary with the same participants.
🐞 Bug Fixes
1. Slack Channel Display Issue Fixed
Problem: Some public channels were not appearing in the Integrations tab.
Solution: All public channels are now visible and selectable in Ambient.
2. Account-Level Recording Settings Now Cascade Properly
Problem: Changes to the account-level auto-join setting were not updating individual meeting series controls.
Solution: Account-level preferences now cascade correctly, ensuring a consistent experience across all meeting settings.
